CITRATHON 2010

There was an event at SK Pusat Bandar Puchong, where I have been hired as an official photographer (OP). The event was called as Citrathon. Frankly, that was the first time I heard the word Citrathon. Normally jogathon, marathon and zaiton. I am not sure whether it was a valid Malay word. Whatever it is, wa layan jelah.

An Indian student performing the indian classical dance, known as Bharata Natyam in front hundred of guests.

A group of student dancing all the time after one to another.

Students get dressed with eastern and western style costume in conjunction with an event called 'fashion show'. From left: traditional korean costume, traditional chinese costume and modern-american style costume.

A group of student keep themselves busy doing one of the activities. The sand art color cost a guest RM3.00 per card.

A bouquet of flower has been put on sale at one of the participant booth. There were almost 20 booths have been setup to sell variety of items. Among the booths were selling drinks, foods, toys, souvenirs and educational products.

Even though it was a super hot shinning day, these kids happily playing with the bouncing house.

Dato' Dr. Satim Diman, ADUN Serdang (second from left) was the honorable guest of the day. Standing next to him were two of SKPBP1-PIBG top post, while Mrs. Yong, the headmistress (second from right) standing next to Mdm Suhaila, a representative from District Educational Office (PPD).

YB Dato' Dr Satim Diman giving his speech at the ceremony before launching the event.

A group of student, who need to act like a model and perform their cat walk together with their beautiful and gorgeous costumed dress performing in front of the guests. So cute!

A specially made roselle jam that had been presented to YB Dato' as a thankfulness for launching the ceremony.

A burger stall that had been set up during the event, operated by the teachers and students of SKPBP1.

A guest (actually he is a teacher) aiming for the target at rubber gun game booth, just like a fun fair.

For those who are interested to ride the horse, there was a horse. Not one, but a couple of them. Like this kid, very excited senyum lebor sampai ke pipi.

And last but not least there was a karaoke competition. The competition was open to all so everybody could participate. Fotografer pon nak enter frame jugak layan karaoke... dapat jugak no.2... hahahahahahaha!

There were lot more interesting photos. However, like usual, time constraints. Not enough effort to upload it all.
