Untuk menjadikan sesebuah album perkahwinan itu seolah-olah satu pengkisahan, salah satu elemen yang perlu ada dalam album tersebut adalah rakaman persiapan pengantin itu sendiri, terutama pengantin perempuan. Walau bagaimana pun, ia bergantung kepada kerelaan  pengantin itu untuk berhadapan dengan jurugambar, dengan mengambil kira beberapa perkara seperti kemasukkan jurugambar ke bilik pengantin, pengantin yang masih belum siap berpakaian sepenuhnya dan isu-isu lain yang difikirkan sensitif oleh pihak pengantin perempuan.

Oleh itu, seseorang jurugambar harus meminta izin daripada pengantin itu sendiri, dengan persetujuan si suami sebelum gambarnya boleh dirakam.

FIRST TAG

Menyingkap kenangan lalu ketika awal pembabitan dalam dunia DSLR, saya bersama beberapa orang rakan yang baru sahaja dikenali melalui sebuah forum fotografi, bersama-sama 'tag along' untuk satu majlis perkahwinan di Bandar Nusaputra, Puchong.

Ini adalah kali pertama saya tag along, demi untuk mencari sedikit pengetahuan dan kemahiran dalam dunia DSLR, selain menambah kenalan yang berkongsi minat yang sama.

Kepada jurugambar yang baru berjinak-jinak dalam dunia fotografi, andainya ada kesempatan, saya sarankan pergilah tag along bersama jurugambar lain yang lebih berpengalaman. Anda bukan sahaja mendapat ilmu dan kemahiran secara percuma, malah dapat melatih diri merakam fotografi perkahwinan sebelum memasuki pasaran secara lebih profesional.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

First of all, this is not a real wedding. They were just a model who acted like a couple of bride & groom, for the purpose of learning process.

I shot this picture during a wedding photography course organized by myfotozone at Putra Heights.

Unofficially, this picture has won the best picture of the day :-)

ENGAGEMENT: SITI SALWA & ATIQI

I shot this picture during an engagement between Siti Salwa and Atiqi.

Siti Salwa is from Banting while Atiqi is from Kepong. Thus, the event was held in Banting, which made me went to Banting for the first time ever.

WEDDING: IZA & YUS

I shot this picture during Iza Azura & Yuskahiry wedding ceremony not so long time ago. Actually, the session almost been canceled due to heavy downpour until late in the evening.

Luckily, the rain stops before it’s getting dark. Thinking of this could be a moment of the lifetime, we immediately went to Pantai Teluk Lipat to shoot as many as we could. The couple were wearing a fully blue wedding attire which is almost similar with the color of the sky and sea. Thus, to add more contrast between the subject and the background, I used to transform the subject into gray scale mode, while maintaining the background as it is. Using the pop-up flash as my speed lite was out of power, it creates more brightness on the sand in front of me, which actually can be edited or cropped.

The session end 30 minutes later as it was totally dark!
